JULIET ROCHE, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Juliet Roche is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with diverse and extensive experience as an RN and APN in a range of medical and psychiatric positions, including neurology, hospice care, addictions treatment and psychiatric and mental health care.  Her current treatment interests include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and other mental health problems. She currently treats adolescents and adults aged 14 to 75.

Juliet’s approach to treatment is patient centered and collaborative. Her focus is on the whole person, including medical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects which may be impacting mental health and quality of life. She will discuss diagnostic findings and treatment options and decide with you the best plan of care. She believes we all have different definitions of wellness, and understanding each client's unique perspective is a vital part of her treatment process.

She holds a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, is ANCC board certified, licensed by the State of TN and is DEA registered. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association, The American Psychiatric Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Juliet enjoys balancing her life with family, friends, the great outdoors and expressing herself through art.

 

KEVIN ADAMS, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Kevin Adams is a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience treating patients suffering from various psychiatric disorders across the lifespan.  He specializes in Medication Management of mental health symptoms, yet approaches treatment from a holistic perspective that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of his patients.  His experience has enabled an understanding of the fact that often times the complexities of life create stressors from diverse occupations, difficulties within relationships and families, and challenges of reaching educational milestones, and he realizes treatment must be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. 

His experience includes extensive patient care within Community Mental Health Centers, Residential and Group homes, and the criminal justice system.  He has been a lead Researcher for a National Study assessing the benefits of Long-Acting Injectable medications for people suffering from psychosis, and continues to treat patients within a unique First Episode Psychosis program. 

He earned his Master’s Degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing, and is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.  His medical experience includes a background in not only Psychiatry, but also Cardiac, Medical, and Surgical Intensive Care within the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.  

He is an artist and a musician, as well as an avid outdoorsman, but mostly enjoys his leisure time with his wife, children, and extended family.
